Discover Piano, Vocal, and Music Theory Lessons in Edinburgh

Whether your child is taking their first piano lesson, you’re returning to music as an adult, or you’re looking to explore singing and music theory, finding the right teacher can make all the difference. At our small, friendly music studios in Cammo and Barnton, we aim to make learning music fun, rewarding, and tailored to each student’s goals.
Experienced, Friendly Teachers for All Ages

Our team brings a wide range of experience to every lesson. Our teachers have extensive teaching experience ranging from teaching complete beginners to beyond grade 8, with many of them regularly performing in concerts and gigs. We pride ourselves on patient, friendly instruction that builds confidence and encourages progress.
We teach students of all ages, supporting them through piano grades, music theory, and vocal lessons. Whether your goal is to progress quickly through exams or simply enjoy playing and singing for fun, each lesson is tailored to the individual. We aim to have you leaving every lesson with a smile and a sense of accomplishment!
A Local School with Strong Community Roots

Our founder, Andrew, grew up in the local area and many of our students come to us through word-of-mouth referrals, which we believe is a testament to the care and quality of our teaching.
We often teach pupils for many years, watching them develop from beginners into accomplished musicians. It’s incredibly rewarding to see students excel in exams, pursue music further, or perform simply because they love it. We have also supported students applying for music scholarships, university and with external performance opportunities to help them grow in confidence and give them every chance of success.
Making Lessons Fun for Children (and Adults!)

We believe that piano lessons are about nurturing musical growth while having heaps of fun. We believe this is the best way to nurture a life long love of music. For our younger learners especially we use games, interactive activities, and creative challenges to make learning piano engaging and memorable.
Our teachers often integrate engaging games like Musical Hangman, which keeps learners focused, whilst cleverly practising their note naming skills. Another favourite is our “hot or cold” dynamics game—the student hide's a small object in the room and then use sound volume to guide the teacher: louder when they're closer, softer when farther away—making learning expressiveness intuitive and fun through movement and sound. It’s a playful, sensory experience that helps students internalise crescendo and diminuendo while strengthening musical awareness in a memorable way.
Flexible Lessons for Every Student

We believe music should be joyful and personalised—not one-size-fits-all. Whether students want to dive into technical mastery and theory through exams or simply enjoy playing the songs they love, we tailor lessons to match their musical dreams. Our teachers have diverse musical interests and are able to teach previously requested music such as Oasis, Radiohead and computer game music and keep up with current music trends, such as Wicked, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift—ensuring every lesson is fresh, relevant, and full of excitement.
A Complete Musical Journey

We believe that music education is about more than just hitting the right notes. By offering piano, vocal, and music theory lessons, we provide a well-rounded musical experience. Students gain skills like sight-reading, harmonising, and performing confidently, preparing them for everything from casual playing to formal exams.
